The team at Native and I were tasked with designing a holistic, foundational design language across the Katin ecosystem, from physical design of their telecommunication devices to interface and packaging.
As a brand predominantly focused on the ultra rich Arabic customers we had to ensure the all designs were sympathetic to a number of cultural nuances. The interface team were predominantly focussed on designing a whole new mobile operating system and the many system apps such as Calendar, Email and Clock. Each design had to be created for English and Arabic and in both light and dark themes.
